Nine Zodiac Too Many

tattoo_baojimenglonggongxionghuanfulei2.jpg

Anyone who has ever stepped into a Chinese restaurant would know there are twelve Chinese zodiac. Apparently in the world this guy is living in, there are only nine. One of the zodiac has then replaced with “leopard” () and the rest are random mirrored characters mixed with Chinese and Japanese. Of course, he did not believe his friends when they pointed them out to him, until now...

Those are so obviously wrong, that even I, a total Chinese/Japanese illiterate, can tell.

Yikes.

Apparently, a leopard princess had a dream that a dragon attacked a hero, then there was happiness and fortune, followed by thunder. All happening in a mirror world. Except the leopard.

I guess that's not too weird for a dream.

Maybe he meant to turn them backwards so they'd look right when he stared at his tatoos in the mirror. ;)

I'm suprised so many were mirrored. Weird.

Zodiacs?? Who thinks those are zodiacs? Only the dragon is, the rest is all random (and mirrored).

this guy should consider getting a "biomechanical" spine tattooed over those, not only would it be the least expensive coverup, it would look pretty wild.

Even as a first year Japanese student, I noticed that the characters were backwards. I know that the tattoo artists who create these hideous tattoos don't speak Chinese or Japanese, but I think they at least have the responsibility to make sure that they tattoo the characters the correct way, not backwards, upside down, or with "this side up" indicator bar as part of it. Whoever did this tattoo should get his/her ass kicked!

It is always possible that the other three signs continue down onto his buttocks.

Lu, I think perhaps the guy with the tattoo was claiming to his friends that he's got the Chinese zodiac tattooed down his spine.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! That's a horrifying thought. Also, why are the characters spaced oddly?
