"Inferior Goods?"

This is definitely a very interesting selection for a lower back tattoo.

If the last character is a botched , then the phrase would be , or "inferior goods".

It reminded me of 貞 when I first saw it, maybe she's aiming for "unfaithful" (as in "player" or "cheater")? The location of the tattoo and the picture certainly don't contradict that guess O.o

I thought of 貞, as well.

芸 in Japanese is usually related to art and talent. 貨 to goods or currency. So, "talentless commodity"?

If it's 貞 as Pappi suggests, perhaps it reads 不貞芸, "an artist of infidelity"?

do you have a "Hall of Fame" of all the worst (or I guess, best) Hanzi mistakes? That would be so cool.

I saw this on BodyMod Ezine... It's supposed to say 'violent artistic diarrhea", I think. "Artistic" she's got, I suppose.... I was shocked at how wayyyyy off the other characters were, like I'm not actually convinced that left one is 不 at all. Like... totally illegible....
