Some web search floundering turned up his wife's name, Daniela. I know the center character can be read as ni in Japanese, and there are a couple possible da kanji for that first one...but what's that third one?
I wonder if the middle one is supposed to be 花 or maybe 佗.
The Japanese Wikipedia article (ファビオ・カンナヴァーロ) contains a couple of interesting nuggets in the その他 section, including that he is a fan of "Lupin the 3rd", and has a tattoo related to the film "Last Samurai" on his right shoulder, though no mention seems to be made of this one.

after reading the comment about his wife's name, it can probably be assumed that it's the characters for her name, 達尼拉
